Does anyone remember the post from a while back on the old GPXD 1:32 scale forum that showed pictures of the new Matchbox Collectibles F-100 (cammo paintjob) and F-104 (NASA markings)? Have these started to appear at Target stores yet? Thanks.

Not yet. The only plane I saw (and finally picked up) was Eagelston's P-47..........

They had the line of WW1 planes (Fokker DR.1 etc) and a new Corsair. Those are the latest.

Yes! The new line has a F-100D (beautiful), new Zero (gorgeous), and the NASA F-104.

I've seen the new F-100 and NASA F-104 on ebay and at the Flying Mule's website. No Target in my AO has carried aircraft since the WW1/Corsair issues. What does the new Zero look like?

She's spotted... not a solid color. I only glanced at it for a sec. I did get the F-100D though.

Yes, the Canadian issues were finally released in the US.. The P-40, Fw-190 and Me-109 only to dealers and not to mass market..

Finally went to Target today here in Dover, and they had everything that was mentioned, Matchbox and FOV. Man do I wish they carried XD!!!
The Zero had a real funky metalic look to it's camo. They used printing for the camo and it doesn't look right whatsoever. This method looked great on the 109 and 190, but here, they did something wrong. Funky stuff........

NEW Matchbox collectables! I was surprised to find in target the following:
Yello nose with giant yellow bear/tiger nose art P-40 and a P-47 Thunderbolt with a yellow nose that has a jolly rodger facing sidways with wings on the head. On the box, it shows a new Hallcat and P-51D.

pah, feh....we've had those in canada for about a year and a half now.
Actually i think these have been seen in the US in the passed few months as well, no? They were part of the same series as the desert 109G, the arrow wing Corsair etc.

Saw the new P-51D, Hellcat, and P-40 at the Riverpark Target store in Fresno, today. I think I'll have to pick up that P-40 and Hellcat, as they look great and I missed out on the origionals. The P-51 looks awesome, however I already have a Matchbox P-51 - Anderson's "Old Crow".

I've never seen the Desert 109G nor the Arrow Corsair actually... news to me.
I agree to a point with the Mustang. I have the 'Old Crow', 'Bunnie', and 'Petie 2nd' Mustangs... but being a big Mustang fan, of course I will have to get this new one!

I gave up on seeing the 109 at Target and bought one on-line. Of course, that means a slew of them will show up on local shelves tomorrow!

I picked up the Zero and the Corsair for my bookshelves recently and noticed they also had the 104 and F 100... Super Sabre looks terrific and the price was really suprising considering the fine paint jobs and level of detail. These were seen in a Pgh area Target and were around 12 dollars....
