Question about Calliope?

Post by momaw nadon » Wed Sep 13, 2006 8:41 pm

I found an interesting game site while searching the web. The game was Forgotten. It had this Willy MB Calliope in it. Did any country during WWII mount rocket tubes on a Jeep? Or is this not real? I know the Russians mounted rockets on trucks, but I never seen them on small vehicles like a Jeep before. Anyone know? Thanks

This is an actual vehicle. I've got a picture of one I'll try and track down for you.

This is a picture of a model someone put out a few years back. All I could find for the moment:

I recently passed up a custom 1/6 with this callipoe setup (on eBay and nobody bid on it). I said to myself. this can't be real, who would ever make that??

I dug around after I saw this question and guess what?

Thank for the info TTT. It is an interesting idea at the least. I have been looking for more on it myself, but haven't found anything new yet.
