For my brief stint in 1/72 I found ToyFed had great prices on the modern pieces. They would occasionally have a 20% off coupon too which would make for great deals. See here:

For the most part, Dragon doeasn't have any metal in their tanks other than a small metal plate glued to the inside to give the tank a little weight.. The early releases were partially metal, usually a hull piece or turret but that was about it..
Badcataviation.com carries them, so does Monkeydepot.com, Timewalkertoys.com, onmarkint.com, petescollectibles.com.. All provide excellent service, so just take your pick and go... :wink:
