I called 21st and was told to email them and request the plugs. They are not in yet. They will be making a list of all that email their requests in for them. The wait now begins for the plugs.
I emailed, you all need to do the same.

21st has been talking to me about the plugs. They wanted to hold of on making any announcement as they wanted to have all the information and lay out a solid plan to have them available. My advise for now is to be patient, live with the holes for the moment and don't spend the time or money to plug them yourself unless you are an experienced modeler. Lets give the crew at 21st a little room to get it put together. Meanwhile the Flight 19 ships should not have this problem. Blue skies my friends, blue skies! 8)

Looks like I'll need to get a Flt-19 Avenger as well the errors will be corrected. I already plugged the fuselage holes on my Atlantic Avenger, but I'm glad to hear that 21c is coming through with an aftermarket solution for that error :D

Guess I could chip out the putty...

Flight 19 I think is finished??? I would guess we might see them this month even. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Play sets- I assume you are talking about 1:18? As of now I have not heard about any plans to make new playsets.

I noticed that Toysnswords updated their preorder page to show a September delivery for the lost squadron Avenger. Also increased the price to 59.99. Hope my 49.99 preorder is still good with them ;-)

That would be great, just that I really hope they go to the small retailers first. I don't want to chase down another Avenger. This is one that I wanted as well :)

Good point on the George Bush Avenger! I want that one as well! It is coming soon though I expect it will still be slightly behind the flight 19 birds.

Time for me to speak out again. TKO, will we be seeing the 'corrected' Snake Stuka and now the South African P-40 in 1/18 anytime soon? I need more Allied North African schemes. If in the event 21st decides to pull the Razorback P-47 out again, I suggest Herschel 'Herky' Green's mount.

This would require a (realtively) minor adjustment to the Checkertail's paint scheme.

I don't think we will see a stuka repaint for a little while being that 21st just released the one that is in stores now. So I wouldn't hold my breath on that one yet.

As for the P-47 Razorback... I could easily see 21st doing another one of those. It has been a while, and I know that back in the day those birds sold pretty well. I Love my current checkertail too. I wouldn't even throw out a guess on the next scheme for that one. There are so many great subjects for that model it could be just about anything!

Sorry I forgot to reply on the P-40...

Lets see how the South African scheme sells in 1:32. I am sure this will be the answer given to me by 21st, but I will ask anyway!

I am pretty sure we will also see a re-paint on the P-40 sometime in 06-07. We haven't had one of those out for a while.

Thank you for your reply TKO. :)

I figured the 1/32 South African P-40 would be a lithmus test for the 1/18.

Okay! All youse 1/32 scale bubbas start buying! 8)

well I hope that 21C isn't relying on 1/32 sales to decide about future 1/18 stuff.

The 1/32 stuff I see collecting dust on the shelves at walmart.

I would think the growing 1/32 plastic model kits is taking away sales. On a personal note, I am still not convinced the 1/32 stuff is scale, it just seems too small, unless my memory is failing, all those revel 1/32 kits just seem bigger.

well not exaclty everything in 1:32 will test for 1:18... 1:32 tooling costs are lower and thus there is less risk for some subjects that will most likely never the light of day for 1:18.

Just the way it is ya know. As for 1:32 scale sales... well local demographic varies from place to place. Some people just did an area recon reporting Donnie Boy razorback p-47!!!??? what are those still doing out. If I found one of those now I would buy it! haven't seen em in 2-3 years!
while other report lots of other things.

1:32 sells like mad in my area. Don't know what is up with that but there is one rule with 32x stuff here locally... buy it when you see it. could be the last time!

So what can you say.

I doubt that 1:32 scale kits are taking too much by way of sales. The cost of 1 32x plane is 15.00. What does a trumpeter 1:32 scale kit go for???? not 15.00 bucks I can tell you that for sure. Naw if they are stickin in your area it's gotta be something else weird. Maybe you guys are all 1:18ers in your area!? 1:18 is my scale of choice hands down! but the new 1:32 scale is really looking sweet now. A bomber in 1:32 is gonna push me over the edge for sure I can feel it!

TKO, do you know if the Panther and PzKpfw IV will be re-released some time soon?

I never found a Panzer IV, and I didnt even know about model tanks at the time of the Panther :(
