I will take it slow. I know my AWD has been with me for awhile. After I get the Avenger, I will be sure to go near it for only brief periods at first.

ok well i'm getting fed up with WM. I talked to the asissantant manager of my local WM and he said hes going to ask there "buyer" when they are going to get one. I prob not going to see one till next year. like i've said before we're just getting th BoB figures now. So I want to know if anyone on here wants to sell an avenger to me with shipping or trade. the only thing i know WM around here have are patton tanks. night fighter 109 a few starfighters. maybe a few new 109s Gs.

My WM gave me the same story at customer service when they ran the bar code. They said they didn't have any on order, that they would not place an order for them and to check somewhere else. 2 days later they had some.
When it comes to WM you just have to expect that you are on your own and you see it when you see it!!!

Folkwulfe, I was just at the WM at Spring Creek and 75 in Plano,
they had 6 Avengers. They are on the top shelf at the back of the store next to the TVs.

I GOT MY AVENGER!!!!!!!!!!!
It just came in the mail. What a great feeling to hold that baby. Ahhhh, and what a great load off when the evil AWD is lifted. Thanks Raiderad6, the plane came in with no problems. Man this thing is so cool!!!!!!!!!!

Bad Cat is reporting that the Bunker Hill Avenger is not dead. Looks like we might still see this paint scheme.

I am keeping all three of my Avenger preorders active. The initial BCA price offering of 64.95 plus the limited time 8.00 shipping puts the total @ 72.95 delivered... Which by the way is cheaper than what Sam Walton is selling for.
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

The plane went together very well. I like how the wings attach with the screws provided. I was careful when pushing in the horizontal stabs, and they snapped in tight. The landing gear is plenty strong as this is a heavy model. The size is really impressive, it makes my Corsairs look small.

GREAT! I was hoping that Bad Cat would pick up the Bunker Hill Avenger again. I didn't want to see that project die on the vine. It's a perfect match to the Corsair we already have!

I know we're in the middle of nowhere, but the TBM's are now in Rolla, St. Robert (my local one), and Lebanon SWM's. Seven seen at the St. Robert SWM this morning.
The St. Bob and Lebanon are right off I-44, and the Rolla one isn't far off the beaten path. --Just in case anyone is driving through.

wow - your store is restocking them when none of the 6 stores in my area have even gotten them yet! Its really no worry as I've got an Avenger, but I just want the glory of finding them at one of my local stores.

Not a new plane in site at the Bellingham, WA store. Heck, they still have four of the old 190's in the old Motorworks boxes still at full price. Toy dept manager will not budge on price. There is in fact, one plane, with the plastic missing on the box, still 39.89.

Anyone seen an Avenger in the North East yet? I have still not seen any in MD. I was hoping to pick one up but did not want to pay 100+ for the aircraft off of ebay.

The Walmarts (3 of them) around the Dover area got a good supply of them in. There are a couple still around....

Has anyone heard any news concerning the plugs for the screwholes on the Avenger fuselage? It is such a nice model, but I display mine of the side without the holes. Why would they leave them out? TKO, can you find out something about this? Thanks.

You too? The Walmart in Sebastian, Fl has 3 P-51 Ridge runners and 1 old beat up 190 with no plastic window, and other damage yet it's still up there on the shelf full price... been there for years it seems.
I cross that WM off my list to ever go there again looking for toys.
