P-51D 1/24th Scale By Merit Int
Just saw this guys on the Bad Cat website. They now have the 1/24th scale P-51D by Merit Int. It has the Eagleston paint scheme and I have to say it looks pretty cool. Anyone thinking of picking one up? I might but have not decided as of yet.

ugh..
Another P-51D in yet another scale...nothing too exciting imo. No pilot, not diecast and the same price as a 1:18 version...so are you paying for the paint scheme?

Digger does have a point. I was only thinking of getting one because it was a P-51. But I'm gonna pass now that I've thought it over.

WOW! I wish I could do that KAGNEW but I'm a poor little shit! lol. I have changed my mind and I am going to purchase Shangri La when it gets on the Bad Cat webpage. For now though I wanna get a WDK Spit because I have heard that its one of 21st's best Spitfires. But $400 bucks? What in the heck did you buy buddy?

400 dollars is nothing I spent almost a 600 within one week buying 1:18 scale aircraft of Ebay. 3 hornets, a green Zero a two Bbi Corsairs, and a pre order F-16.
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

An update for those who want to know or are interested. I got an email from Merit Int and the Shangri La 1/24th Mustangs will be hitting the online retailers in the next week or so if not by the end of the month. So for those who want this colorful Thorobred its coming. I know I want one and might pick up the Eagleston version as well. They are 1/24th scale I know but damn they sure look nice and detailed.
Shangri La looks so damn cool with that eye catching paint scheme that it will be hard to pass up for me. But being the loyal Mustang fanatic that I am I say the more Mustangs the merrier!!!
