Actually, I think it is a bit more than that. The current exchange rate is roughly 1.89 GBP to 1 USD so with shipping it would run you approximately $51 USD, not a huge difference mind you, but a tad more than $37, the difference being the shipping charge, but still a far cry from $300you can get one for 37$ directly

Bidding
Hi,
Could be a case where one of the bidders is a newbie to ebay and doesnt realize that by poking around ebay he could get it for less, in this case alot less. Sometimes bidders get so wrapped up in the auction they forget that other similar listings could be up, some perhaps feeding off this sudden hysteria.

So I took your word for it regarding the math and bought four of the tanks. To my suprise, shipping ended up being almost as much as the tanks themselves: 79 british pounds for the tanks and 78 to ship it to the US. So about $250 for four tanks. Thats about 50 more than I thought I would spend, but I figure if badcat ever got it it would be around the same w/ shipping included.
It was either an army of panzer 4s or an one GI Joe General

When did you win and pay for your tank? I asked him if he could combine shipping for me and he hasnt gotten back to me. I think Ill hold off on sending payment. I wouldnt be too worried if I were you, your purchase qualifies for free protection under paypal since he has a 1800+ rating.
I paid $96.79US total....Hun and Aferg say the seller is on the up & up. $150 is alot of money for shipping.sakuraba wrote:Okay I just did the math again and it figures out to be a little over 300, I cant afford that. Should have done the math beforehand. He is trying to charge me $150 to ship it, I might as well fly there myself.
"Tigers!?.....Where did the Tigers come from!?!"
I just got my four today. This thing is amazing!!!!
Pity it is rare in the US, it really does look a lot better w/ the sideskirts. Not crazy about the colors. I wanted the original colors so I could get the halftrack and tiger to match, but maybe the new tank killer halftrack will look nice alongside it.
