Please confirm; the XD IJA figures are a bit shorter than the Playmobil door?!? That's good news :D
I will post some pictures tonight. I really, really like this building. Probably the best playmobil building I've picked up. Also having a hard time keeping the daughter from taking it over.

the road comes in lots of different patterns (brick, cobblestone, etc.) and is by Dept. 56 for their holiday miniature towns. Just search for Dept 56 road on ebay and you should be able to find some. They also make some nice low stone walls but make sure to check the sizes on anything you see because it's all originally made for much smaller scale.

The post-holiday sales at places like Michael's and W-M are great for picking this stuff up on clearance.
Forgot to comment on this. Michael's should be getting these in soon, if not already. They have a tendency of disappearing in the post-holiday rush. Wait for the 40% off coupons in the Sunday paper, and pick them up now. My Walmart's only seem to get teh narrow (6" wide) walkways, where Michael's gets the large rolls.

Big Lots or Odd Lots also get this and the brown grassy stuff in rolls too.

Here's the shack. Again, the only change is to give the windows and doors the Rit dye treatment.

Thanks, that really looks good. I passed on this set, but might have to go back and buy one. Of course, I don't have anything but ETO figures so that might be a problem.

POLA

The POLA buildings work very well for me. They are slightly undersized but are of such tremendous quality they really add to dioramas. They are pricey but are actually made to use outside in the weather. I likes em.

From Playmobil's website. Here's the link:

Your price may vary a little since they charged me sales tax in addition to shipping.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
