AVENGER IS IN!!!!!

Post by dfoos » Wed Aug 02, 2006 9:22 pm

Just came back from WM in my area and there were 6 AVENGERS on the shelf. WHOOOO HOOOOO these are huge planes. $69.99 was the price. ANyone else spotted them and if so, is $69.99 the price everywhere? I thought it'd be a little less.

Great find, only I wish it would happen to me in California. Did you not see the 15 page Avengers in Wal Mart thread at the top of the page?

They have gotten about to many places in the country rather quickly, though they have completely skipped large areas in central California, as well as other states. As it stands now, there are sightings in Northern & southern California, Washington (Seattle & Bellingham), New Mexico, Texas (San Antonio & somewhere else), Oklahoma (Tulsa), New York (long is. area), Virginia (Va Beach), and somewhere in Indiana. There are people finding 6-8 of these things at one place and others finding nothing - I am one of those :?

Don't worry, there is a lot of people who haven't found one yet; though I don't get why some places get 6-8 planes and others get zippo - with the continued prospect of just that.

Hey guys, va beach is usually on the SLOW end of recieving stuff, and usually we see everything close to LAST, but the Avenger turned up in va beach according to zonetoys. So perhaps distribution is hitting the normally spotty areas first? Then going for the areas that usually get stuff first? I dunno.

Being in va beach i ALWAYS wonder if I will ever see anything new and news of the avenger here surprised the hell out of me. Good sign for distribution I guess...we usually get stuff last but now we are first!

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

Whoops, Didnt see the thread at the top. I usually dont pay attention to the stickys because they rarely change. Sorry. Anyway, Nice bird. 3 crew. I'm suprised because of all the talk of there being only two.

I hope you all get them soon.
