There was a similar thread once on the old GP board and now that we have had a few new releases since then (and this cool polling feature!) I thought I would ask the above question again.
Only the aircraft type has been considered - not all the repaints!
(I wanted this initially to be for the best XD plane overall, from a list of all aircraft to date, however, the number of options for the poll was too large to post
)

I look at all of them hanging in here... and the P-47 just stands out. Plus... of all of them... it's the closest to the real thing (not just in my opinion... but I have access to see just about ever one of those planes on the list minus the stuka... and the P-47D is the closest)

The spitfire is beautifully done and actually feels like a solid piece of work.

I picked the bubbletop P-47. I don't have one yet but have seen one at a local wal-mart. I would vote for the Razorback, but I like ther armament on the bubbletop and the first paint scheme.

My vote should surprise no one who's been paying attention here lately!
Bubbletop.

I'll vote for the P-47 Razorback.

I went for the Spitfire. Perhaps its my British heritage, the graceful lines of the plane, or the fact that it has one of the most detailed cockpits next to the 109G, but I just don't get tired of looking at that plane! Corsair comes next.

I voted for the F4U guys. The re-done Ira Kepford Corsair is awsome and finally the paint scheme was done right. I think the Corsair line from 21st is the best that they have put out so far. That is until I get the bubble top P-47.
