Has anyone traded with 1:18 Pathfinder?

Post by momaw nadon » Tue Aug 01, 2006 10:14 am

I'm not looking to start another fiasco post, but I was wondering if anyone has dealt with 1:18 Pathfinder. He is a new member who join in June. I'm not sure about him and wondering if anyone else has traded or buy/sold anything to him? I haven't lost anything, but we set up a deal which I asked him to send first and he agreed, but that was three weeks ago. I don't think it would take a figure three week to be mailed from Ft Wayne, IN. Should this be a warning to others? Thank you for any help.

Don't do it! I've been waiting over two weeks. He's given some good excuses, car accidents, illness from eating fish, seemed like a nice guy, and maybe those stories are true...but I'm having BIG doubts now!! More later...

I was doing a trade with him a month ago, we were almost to finishing a figure deal, but then he just kept making up stories about his wife, him in the hospital, and a bunch of other stuff for me to lower the price. I thought i'd give him a brake so I offered to take off 8 bucks. He then made up some other story for me to lower again. I didn't budge. He then comes back to me a day later saying as how NOW he CAN buy for the orignal price. Rest of the story behind, we never had a deal.

Thanks guys. He just doesn't return e-mails, so I was wondering about him. Also he is about 80 to 100 miles away from the other guy "Audie Murphy" in Indiana. I don't know if it is the same guy or not, so I'm glad we got the word out before someone gets taken by this person.

First off, I don't know who the hell "Audie Murphey" is, but it's not me.
1} momaw Nodan, I could not send you the figure we agreed upon as I was hospitalized due to a serious car accident which took my sisters life last weekend, after a week of suffering. Make it known you sent me NOTHING and I have not taken anything. Want the figure, I will send it to you for free...really don't care at this time. It's just not that important.

2} Cataman, you are a lier and a flake who advertised items you did not have, and when I called you out on it, took the the "I am the victem" roll, as here. YOU said you would lower the price and I did not write you asking you too. You said because you did not have the item I wanted, you could lower it. I said I would buy certain items, then turned you down when you said you had to "Order" them....right buddy! You pestered me repetedly and I finally said I wanted 2 figures, which you wanted $ 10.00 each...and $10.00 shipping! You must be crazy! You only posted in the traders forum after I posted I needed 101st, 82nd figures, which you did not have in hand. If you want to take this up with the moderator, I have everyone of your e-mails, or should I just post them here? Let me know, as you have no credablity here, same as me.

3} Holensock...you have been PM'd.

well, at this point some trades will have to be on hold as there is a new 6 month restriction on new member trading (and this included buying and selling as well).

Sorry Aferg, I'll try not to post tomorrow.

Pathfinder who said I didn't have these items? I needed to order them? WTH? 19 Fallschirmjager/101st/82nd AB Line my figure wall at the moment..

When your making a trade don't go on vacation and leave us hanging, and don't say anything about your wife or your backround. Don't tell people about personal things such as family. Just say no, thank you, and good luck!

Like i said I wont post tomorrow.. -sigh-
