Centone's emails

Post by ParatrooperCarbine » Wed Dec 15, 2004 12:51 pm

Interesting....

Presumably a ruse intended to drum up support for his cover story that his son is behind it all and he is trying to clean up the mess.

He wants people to post messages saying they think he is telling the truth because of the email they got.

Still no email about tracking number (of course).

Friday is coming fast!

The guy is a scam artist and I will be very surprised if anyone gets anything back. He had the nerve to tell me he had already sold my figures when I asked for them back - after his initial story about how he needed them to play with his kids.....the guy is just full of it, so please don't anybody think that there is more than one person (audie, lonnie, recondo, jw, deltastrykeforce, etc...) or that he is going to do the right thing.

Post by ParatrooperCarbine » Wed Dec 15, 2004 1:24 pm

No one believes him. We just want to give him the rope he needs...

When did he say he sold the figures? What kind of figures were they? Did he say by what means he sold them? ebay? Elsewhere?

He went silent on me too. Maybe he's making a run to the Mexico border.

Clay,

I was just in Tupelo around Thanksgiving. I return to Oxford many times during the year. I have many friends there and really love the place. One of my good friends is a big law enforcement guy in Oxford.

So who would think a guy born and raised in NYC would love Mississippi so much?

Mike

PS Yes, guys, start calling the law enforcement people on this guy if you don't get your stuff by Friday....

Of course he is. I just noticed he had suddenly abandoned his silly excuses, and I wondered if all the other victims had the same experience.

That was likely just to drag things out and allow people to lose interest or just forget about it. This weekend I plan to use some of those personal phone numbers that have been listed. If you're stupid enough to let someone receive mysterious packages to your house than you deserve whatever you get.

Update

Post by ParatrooperCarbine » Fri Dec 17, 2004 1:32 pm

I called the Eaton OH number and it is disconnected. I called the number the guy called me from. A woman answered and hung up on me.

I called back and left a message. I suggest doing the same, as well as calling the police in your town, as the poster on Wednesday suggested.

The number he called me from: 765-409-0810. The said this is his number, so don't fear that you are harassing someone whose phone he borrowed. The voice on the answering machine is the same one I heard on the phone.

Robert

New e-mail form him today:

I expect that everyone has had time to have received
their packages by now, however, I have not heard
anything from any of them letting me know whether they
have gotten them or not. I cannot begin to understand
how such a huge misunderstanding ever occurred, but I
do hope that users from your board refrain from such
transactions in the future. As of just today, I have
noticed that on your website, you still have not set
up any age verification, regulations and/or standard
operating procedures pertaining to buying, selling or
trading, I suggest that you encourage your members to
carry out any such transactions via their private
e-mails and not your board and/or chat room.

He keeps going on about age verification... how the heck am I supposed to do that? If he seems to adament about getting it up... I'd love to hear how he thinks it should be done.

The guy is actually trying to shift blame?? Like it is somehow P-51's fault that he robbed people?? This guy's nerve is absurd. Please P-51, do not take him seriously.
I'm sure he sent everything back - like he sent it the first time. I'm long passed my violent years but man if I ever got my hands on this piece of garbage....

You know what.....everyone gave this guy a chance to save himself and he has refused to take that chance that was given. Many crooks have honour and when caught red handed will make ammends. But not this one. His routine is very polished.....like it's been done many times. He is counting on everyone being too lazy or too apathetic to do anything; and he is going to do the very same thing again, on another board and maybe one day, again on this one, under another guise. Why? Because he sees he can get away with it.

Time's up. Fry this guy.

P: send him back an email saying that he was given a chance and he did not take it. That at this point there will be no further direct communication with him. Tell him not to contact you any more unless it is through his lawyer.

Everyone that was scammed by this putz: call the police and call the phone numbers paratrooper carbine gave you. Call every day, twice a day; give him no peace. Do not let this piece of shit get away with what he has done.

Foolishness

Post by ParatrooperCarbine » Fri Dec 17, 2004 2:14 pm

Age verification? What idiocy. A feeble blind. If I didn't know it was an adult I'd wonder, because this is the kind of transparent, pathetic attempt at misdirection that you'd expect from a 14-year old trying to explain why he didn't turn in his homework.

Apparantly he thinks we are idiots.

Hi Everyone,

First of all, my first grade students are smarter than this clown. When they don't do their homework, they usually simply say they didn't do it or forgot to. First graders are certainly more mature than this person is. Heck, we have computers in my classroom, my first graders are smart enough to use the internet and not make phony trades and waste people's time. :)

This guy is slick, he is not as dumb as you think. What he is trying to do is 1) shift the blame and 2) make it look as if he was too dumb to realize that if you say you are going to trade with someone, they have to get something back. This is the type of garbage that is in the courts system nowdays. I see it all the time at school, people look for every excuse and loophole they can find. It is quite amazing.

However, here is how I see this. 1) Plenty of people trade on this website, and no one has a problem such as this. It seems every trade goes well here with the exception of this characters. Our good trader reports back that up. 2) This looney's story simply doesn't add up, first he had an autistic kid, then he didn't, then some Arthur Coy guy came into the picture, then some woman. I mean this is just the strangest family or whatever it is in America. If you are going to lie at least get the story straight! I also have a feeling that some of the people in that house have no idea what is going on either. I do think it is one person spinning the show.

Here's the latest e-mail I've received after my item did not arrive by Friday. I told him I would notify the authorities in Eaton, Ohio which is the only concrete address for this guy and here is the response:
"It was NOT a front, you prove that I did not send you
what I sent you, you are a LIAR! You are trying to
pulla fraudulent scam, so Call the police if that's
the LIE that you choose to enter into..."
Just doesn't take a hint that what he did was wrong.

That's our Audie

Post by nomo4me » Sat Dec 18, 2004 11:02 pm

That's the same tone Audie used on the GP board when he tried to fiegn that he'd been victimized.
Next day he started trolling the board with repetitive posts.

You guys either need to take meaningful action or drop this thing.

He is monitoring the board with perverse pleasure at all the teeth knashing being displayed by those he duped.

No worries. We are not discussing it all on the board, for obvious reasons. Nothing is being dropped.
