Question

I have the reissued OD US halftrack on layaway and want to know what it come with.
Anybody open one up yet?
I know it does NOT have a driver.
But does it have the machine guns, rifles and bedrolls that came with the original halftrack??
Somebody let me know...

It has the bedrolls and tarp for the rear end. Plus one fifty caliber and two .30 caliber machine guns and mounts plus mines. No rifles etc like in the first one

Could not think of anything to put here.

I bought it as well. It is missing a few items but for the price, $22.00. I think its worth it.

I think if it comes with zero accessories it's still a deal at $22. Holy cow.....a large, accurate, built and painted model with many operating features, for $22, is a great bargain.

There is also the law of diminishing returns...I have about 12 US halftracks so I would likely pass on the new repaint even at $22. I agree though that it is a great deal. Even the Mutt with no figure is a great deal at $22 but it's all relative.

Well duh, 12! Is that a typical number to have? 2 is usually my limit on a particlar vehicle, plane etc.. I have 3 Me 109 G-6's but one is the Gunther Rall with special box.

The reissued Halftrack comes with all the accessories of the origional, save no figure. I thought the paintjob well done - better than the previous halftrack repaint that came out at WM last year. All the seat cussions are painted and even the dials on the dasboard are detailed. Given that its a large vehicle with lots of accessories, $22 isn't all that bad, but last year's repaints with the figures were the best deal.

When it's the best 1:18 scale vehicle ever 12 is just right.

But same theory applies for you at 2 - eventually enough is enough even though they are a great deal.
The reissued Halftrack comes with all the accessories of the origional, save no figure.
Are you sure? We now have conflicting reports..

I also have a ton of these and even more of the German halftrack. They are a real deal even without the figure and a few rifles. I will continue to buy these to make future customs as the new versions become available.

I'm glad I have more than one halftrack since I'll be using them to tow the pak-40's when they make their debut.

I forgot to mention that it didn't have the rifles... It had the mines, machine gunes & mounts, and the canvass rolls. There is certainly no figure in the current reissued halftrack like there was with the other OD green version released last year with the COED Shermans and gray Hannomags. The new halftrack has a better paint job, IMHO.

is $22 the list price, or is it some discounted WM price? Also, what was the price of the halftrack when it did include the figure?

Regular price is $22 and change(22.74 I think) plus tax. The halftrack with figure was the same price.

TRU's were originally $30, then marked down to $20 (which I passed on at the time

)
