PATRICIA II PREORDERS-PROCRASTINATE OR NOT-

Post by mikeg » Tue Jul 11, 2006 6:35 pm

I'm still puttin it off and the preorders are still showing to be available, how many do ya think BCA has? I'm selling some firearms to cheer the wife up a little bit (and pay some bills). There used to be time when 80.00 would be spent with reckless abandonment , but alas, no more.

Patricia II does look like a beautiful model. I plan on getting one, but I am really looking forward to the German CL-13 Sabre from Admiral.

Been there, done that, and the expenditure can be difficult to justify when the item is perceived as a "toy".....

I have said before if you know you want one then you should preorder because no doubt they will eventually be gone but if you are not crazy about the paint scheme or the idea of a trophy piece it is hard to justify. When the 21C MiG and F-86 together will cost the same as this AT F-86 it is no wonder the pre-orders are still readily avialble. I see them at the AT website and the best price yet here:

At least with the Blue Angels F18s or ANG F16s they were made in numbers that could allow for a price on par with the regular versions, but you need to really like the Patricia scheme (which seems like a bland choice for a 500 unit run) to blow $75 plus shipping on one. Huff, Mitch's Squitch and the Jolley Roger all have similarities to Pat II at a fraction of the cost.
