OT- WWII and Star Trek

Post by red69charger » Wed Oct 13, 2004 10:45 am

I finally got to view the season premiere of Star Trek Enterprise and it looks like its gonna be heavy on WWII alternate history. If you are into that kind of thing the first episode had P-51s stafing a shuttle pod, Jagdtigers in front of the White House, a kubelwagen, BMW motorcycle with side car, and an Opel troop transport truck. It looks like they are going all out to insure that the German troops who have invaded America have authentic equipment. I really enjoyed the story as well.

I saw the scenes for this week's episode...I think I saw a Stuka.

If they don't use authentic equipment (Russian Tanks instead of Tigers) they can always blame the Temporal Cold War.

WWII and Star TREk

That sounds cool, what channel is on ???? Anyone remember the Star Trek episode " Pattern of Force " from the first Star Trek tv show  yes many years ago. Similar story line, the what if thing...Enterprise crew is looking a lost Federation officer and finds him on a planet where he has helped set up a govt. like that of 1930's Germany. If you find it check it out. Oh and Spock look cool in a Wehrmscht helmet,

episode 2

Post by red69charger » Wed Oct 20, 2004 8:45 am

I enjoyed this one also but was a little disappointed that the storyline ended already. I was hoping it would continue in the WWII theme for a few more episodes. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
