About those bbi figures...

Post by holensock » Mon Jul 03, 2006 12:58 pm

This might have been covered before, but...what do you do to make them 'free stand' or in a walking or running position? I like the way 21C has the're figures with the plastic stands.

You are right,, these figures have limited posing ability.

But I believe these are the best figures BBI has put out to date...

I added wrist articulation and swapped some heads, cut off the baseball cap and did some easy mods.. I was able to get several different versions of the stock figure... check out my album

Hey Bob, just make your own stands, that's what I did...e-mail me sometime and I will send you some pics and easy instructions on how I did it. If you have a couple extra hours to spare and some old DVD cases it's pretty simple to do. Cheers,

Thanks for all the nice comments,,, I did not get the "chopper Harris" figure yet, but I will buy a few more of each when I get the chance. (and some ca$h....).

The sniper has limited articulation and pose-ability but is really well detailed and equiped.. I added a GI joe poncho from the Crosshairs figure....

I still want Platoon Figures!!!!!!!!!

Other than Toys-R-US, where can you find these guys? The 3 TRU's in my area never have BBI instock and does not seem to be getting anything new. Many thanks, Tkjaer21.

Thank's SB,,,

I have been busy with other-than-custom-1/18th modern stuff
(like working at my real job and being a Dad)

I am working on some Custom Special ops figures to go with the BBI's... I will post some pic's in the custom forum.

Did you guy's like the sniper's view picture even though the foreground was blurry????

Hey mate I know that DAD part. So many things to get on with But so little time too or very late nights.....LOL

I do indeed like what you have done mate & the sniper with the Crosshairs guille bits is a nice touch mate. I`m using those bits myself on my BBI sniper though I`m going for a full guille suit myself on him.

Also currently sculoted a new fore head & hair on the Baseball cap SEAL head, after I removed the cap. The cap dremelled out nicely to fit other heads too :D
