An M-16  very cool, I always felt that 21st's US halftrack was one of the best in the XD line. So I think this M-16 is going to be a real a$$ kicker :D Nice Work 21st.

Nice. Very, very nice. I will not verbally flagellate 21C for this one.

I'm liking this trend of re-working existing molds. Gives me hope for Wirblewinds, Hummels, Stugs and Stuka zu Fuss's's's...

A+
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I am all about this bad boy. It looks great and I can't wait to get a couple. I will put one in front of the display of my wife's grandfather's stuff. He was 633rd AAA. He worked out of these and off of the railway mounted AA batteries. This is so cool.

I had this as a model as a kid. History repeats. I thing this will go great with the bridgelaying hanomag. Nothing like variety. Small nuances mean a lot to me. Seems like just yesterday over @ Groundpounders we were sweating 21st staying alive and now here we are. Dont worry, be happy!!!

Nothing negative from me on 21C. They appear to be taking a logical step to keep us happy with new armor by re-doing existing molds for new versions. We've made that suggestion for quite a while. Glad 21C listens to us.

They can do three or four "mods" of existing vehicles and make us very happy by throwing out to us a completely new vehicle like the KT. :)

By the way, I like the new German half-track also.

My pic of an actual M-16 (not the converted M-3's, which were completely authentic):

How can you not like such a beautiful and deadly vehicle 8)

21st told me about this one a couple months back, I was thinking yeah that would be cool. But this week when they shot me over the pics for AREA-21 my jaw dropped! I am not a huge armor guy and let me tell you this one really woke me up.

My intel from 21st HQ is that the guns do move up and down and rotate.

Someone else mentioned that the US halftrack was considered to be one of the best molds, I agreem fully and this new gun mount is just what the doctor ordered to spruce this bad boy up with some awesome firepower. I also like that it crosses into Korean War era.

No idea on schemes yet, though I would expect we will see a paint master article in the next few weeks or so.

Awesome. Thought I had enough of the halftracks - guess I was wrong.

My only question is will 21C go back to packing in drivers, or will we continue to see vehicles sold without figures?

This gives me hope for a Normandy Sherman... While others maybe aren't wanting yet another Sherman, I'd love seeing one with Hedge cutters on the front... Perhaps a flamethrower one, or a mine sweeper...

I think the Pioneer Hano was a bit of a boring choice, but man you slap a big gun or weird accessory onto something and my interest goes up 100%. The Halftrack looks fantastic...

Let me now just express my hope that these come with figures too... The recent vehicles without figures have felt a bit "cheap' to a lot of people and I think it hurts the potential POP sales... A repainted driver always helps entice me to pick up almost anything. :)

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

TKO,
When can we expect to see these new items in stores or on-line? And are the pictures they have up the final model going to be produced? Just wondering if there is anything that was not added in the pictures or stuff that is going to change. Looks great.

Now that's what I'm talking about :D

I guess I could use a 3rd Halftrack, especially since this one has some nice firepower, so count me in! With the aparent upcoming release date, it also has some good timing. Many Wal Marts and small retailers still have the 21c BoB figures, which means crew figures will be readily avaliable. That quad .50 mount looks great as well!
