1:32 articulated figures...

Post by holensock » Wed Jun 21, 2006 4:30 pm

If that happened, I'd probably get into 1:32 scale in a heartbeat! I have just a couple of sets that I think are FANTASTIC! But what keeps me from really getting into it is the lack of figures! I'd love just a set of sitting figures for the vehicles and to ride on tanks, walking figures to be an infantry on their way to battle. Even a bit of limited articulation to free them up would be neat...

I am not sure if you have been able to look at what is out there but I think in 1:32 you can have it all! I agree that figures are an issue due to multiple manufactures, various states of quality, prices etc. Yet poses, seated tank riders etc can all be had.

However with the popularity of the scale I believe its only a matter of time before some one nails this segment.

The 1:32 scale pilot figures in the 32x Zeros and Macchis have articulated arms and heads. The arms can raise and lower (not bend) and the heads can turn. The turning head alone is awesome, and the pilot can sort of grip the control stick now 8)
