What is your favorite and least favorite plane?

Favorite Plane - German F-104

Don't really have a LEAST favorite. I don't collect WWII, so all of them would go into my "not interested in" catagory...

Since there have been so few modern A/C issued, I've collected them ALL!!!

Tough question... My favorite would have to be the 21c silver USAF F-104. Though there are a number of very close contenders, including the BBI F-16, BBI Corsair, and 21c ME-109G.

My least favorite? That would have to be my S1 21c P-51D, but only for reasons of inaccuracy and lack of detail. At the time it first came out, however, it was the greatest toy plane in the world

My favorite is the D-Day P-38.
Least favorite would be the Kiowa. (If choppers are included.)

Good queston!

mmmmm...... Lease favorite would be a tie with the P-38 and P-47. This is mainly due to their windshield issues. Both have windshields that destroy the realism of the plane. Picky, yes, but to me very noticable. I can overlook this on the P-40 for some reason.

Most favorite would have to be the bbi Corsair. Being a Corsair nut, I really like the lines of the plane, even though the paint scheme sux. The flaps are a pain in the caboose, but they look soooo cool when extended...

My favorite is the Tropical 109E. This is purely due to the paint scheme. If 21C comes out with a Tropical 109G-2, that one will take it's place since the G is much better detailed and articulated. Least favorite? My Fw-190.

Note: Once I get my Checkertail switched over to the Herky Green P-47, I suspect that one will also be right there at the top. Nothing like a little sweat and aggravation to endear a custom piece to one's heart.. lol

Wow, this one really makes you think. Right now my personal favorite would be my Haleaklea P-38. I just love the looks of this plane. I would venture to say my favorite will be the Avenger very soon. As for my least favorite I would have to say the S1 P-51. Again just for the detailing issues. It truly was a groundbreaking plane at the time.

My favorite.... Boy it is pretty tough as I pretty much like anything with wings.

Ok my favorite- USAF F-104

Least favorite- My S1 P-51D mustang (old school) version not the re-tool.
I must say agree though that the plane in it's day was the best thing since sliced bread! And I can't knock it because it was started the whole thing off!

As I read the question, we are really not limited to 21C or even 1/18.

My favorite plane is easy:......B-25. Followqed by B-17, PBY & Mossie

My least favorite is:....Any modern jet. Anything developed past the age of the F-86. Early jets from Me-262 to Mig-15 and F-86 are just cool. Anything newer are flying computers with guys just hanging on.

Sorry jet guys, but you know what they say about butts and opinions...everyone has one

my favorite, so far F-86,

but i have a feeling

Avenger will replace it

least is P-38 because main landing gear is SO WRONG

I really love the F-86 and looking forward to the Me-262. The least favorite by far is the P-40 warhawk. It is just too toyish and wrong!

My long-standing favorite, the S1 Stuka. It still knocks me out!
Least favorite was the S1 BF-109, which I sold off long ago.

Favorite real airplane - Surprise

P-40.
Next to favorite real airplane - P-47
Favorite 1:18 (If and when it comes out): B-25; until that comes out, my Gabreski-custom-marked bubbletop P-47.
Least favorite real airplane - one that doesn't have a prop.
Least favorite 1:18: F-104
Next to least favorite 1:18: Yes, the early 21C P-51's for all the same reasons, but I'm not getting rid of any of them!
