Bill Gifford's custom figures

Hey guys, check out these 21st Airborne custom figures by Bill Gifford, they look awesome, nice work Bill!! Bill was having trouble getting images up, so I offered to post these for him. Great work my friend.

Thanks to Scott for posting these pictures. These 21st A.B. figures are in my opinion the best out there for customizing. The possibilities are endless for a nice basic figure but they scream customizing. All the figures have had their uniforms, belts, suspenders and straps painted in more authentic colors. All have had head swaps using BBI, Dragon and 21st. New holes were drilled in the figures and the gear was super glued in. This was done to show the items hanging where they should be and they won't fall out. After this was all done, each figure had pastel chalk dust applied to them with a paint brush. The colors used were black and different earth tones. This took any glare away from the paint, also weathered the uniform and gear and at the same time, blackened the faces and hands. The final step was to put a nice coat of Testors Spray Dullcote to seal each figure. This way none of the chalks or paint will come off. These figures were alot of fun to make and are my favorite.
