B-25 bomb skipping

Post by Moth » Tue May 02, 2006 7:36 pm

I was watching TV, the Discovery channel, a show called Mega Movers, they showed B-25 bomb skipping footage. I nearly craped my pants when I saw that, the B-25 flys at about 300Ft or so, and drops it's bomb, the bomb skipps on the water, jumps up a couple dozen feet and such, then finally hits the enemy ship.

To the point, does anyone have a video of this? I searched the internet, and couldnt find anything.

Help really appreciated!

Thanks

The most I've seen was still photos of Skip Bombing. Most notably in the Time Life WWII series. I too would love to see some video footage.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
