bad cat has the new BOB II figures in, and they're on sale for 45 bucks a set!

not a bad price, considering guys were paying 30 bucks each a few weeks ago on ebay.

Yep, I saw that too. That's what 9 figures total?? Plus, check out all that gear that comes with each figure, this is a killer deal and I wish I had the funds to order this set right now, unfortunately I'm gonna have to wait till the first of next month and hope they've still got em.

Yeah distribution seems to be very weird on these. My closest Walmart is in northeast Tennessee and there is 2 within 15 minutes of me. One has restocked OMG/Japanese at least 4 or 5 times. While the other one never had these, but did have a case or two of the BoB II figures. One of the OMG restocks was even after I found the BoB II at the other store. Go figure! Less than 10 miles bewtween the two Super Walmarts and totally different restocks from the distribution warehouse.

Thats good! Just I would hope they sell the figures individually, as there's only a couple that I really want from the set. These haven't yet appeared on the west coast, and seem pretty much confined to the southeast. Very odd, as these are really great figures!

That is excellent. With $8 shipping my figs cost less than if I found them in WM.

I guess I had to buy a few more BAR gunners, but hey, what's a squad without 50% BAR Gunners?

Now I regret trading an OOP fig for what is readily available...but serves me right for not being patient.

Another thing on these guys - the heads they chose. The doofy BoB head should have been banished from the ranks, and the US wool cap is already plentiful in many collections thanks to the "Vehicle Driver."

Good news that BCA got them in. I've been looking for these guys on the west coast and have spotted NADA! Guess I'll have to order several sets since the shipping seems very reasonable.

GoodStuff has come through again with the great prices. Set of 9 BoB II = $39. Set of 6 bbi WWII = $26.

While on the topic of good deals - SmallJoes has S1 BoB marked down, as well as good prices on Patton, sets of USMC figures, and Pilots.

I've resisted 1/18 figures to go with my vehicles.......up to now. These S2 BOB figures are neat looking.

Drat, another drain on the wallet. I'm lucky my wifey hasn't noticed my toys.

TTT, I had no idea you had resisted figures until now.

..We will never have anything on 1:6 as far as detail or variety, but 1:18 figs are an addictive combination of size, articulation, price and custom potential.

This last point is especially so with new 21C and bbi figs that have easy swap heads and even joints.
It is all downhill from here

I used to consider the figures as secondary to vehicles, but for a while now I feel they're just as important. Must have crew and personnel!

Just got my box of BoBs this afternoon, all nine

The Rode and Kendzai are cool looking with their removable hats.... think Im going to cut the head phones off so I can do some customs. The Wolff and Schuster figs look similar to the Ardennes closed and open long cost figures but have darker uniforms and better flesh tones.
The US troops look fantastic....Nice Going 21st and Thanks Rob at Bad Cat, got my stuff on time.

Digger:

Figures in 1/6 are SO great. Until you find out the little tricks to dress your little guys, like spending an hour or more getting boots on until you squirt some hand cream in the boots, sounds really funky for the little guys but that works.

I love trying to get equipment on a belt and the belt buckle breaks or a piece of harness just wil not go on and finally you give up and throw the piece of equipment or harness in the parts box and you say "Here, it's different but it's done and now it's customized."

And finally you pose the little guy in a group of little guys and something happens like a rubber band acidentially shot accross the room lands on one guy and he falls over knocking all the guys over like a house of cards, and some guys fall on the floor and equipment you have spend an hour putting on, pops off and goes flying and his gun and helmet always land in the oddest places. AND cats, forget what they can do to a display while walking amonst my guys and curling up inside my Sherman. Cats just have no respect

AND Jack Russels just never walk, they run everywhere and roll around and always end up in the corner where my 1/6 vehicles are. I'm dreading the day which is fast approaching when my grandcrumbsnatcher crawls and I must fund new "display" areas that he can't reach.

Now, 1/18 guys can be knocked over but you guys have just recently discovered the "joy" of dealing with even smaller pieces of equipment.

FAT OLD fingers are just torture in all these little guys. Oh, to long for the days of just dealing with 21C little tie downs plastic straps and little screws

You have demonstrated one of the biggest advantages of 1/18 figures. There's nothing nicer than when half the kit is molded on. Then you're only capable of losing/breaking the other half.. lol

I just got some of the new BoB II German tankers from BCA. Although just the basic tanker figure, the accessories, paintschemes and especially removable hats are very cool! Now if they would just make a carded US tanker with removable tanker helmet.

Well, all you would have to do is locate "Animal" Diaz and use his extra head with the removable tanker helmet.

My Animal Diaz does not have a removable helmet. Its molded on to his head. I hope this isn't the case like the Huey pilots where the first issues had molded helmets and then they came out with removable helmets. Does your Animal Diaz's helmet come off?

That figures. I thought it would be removable because the USMC Sherman driver's helmet comes off. Sorry bout that!

Just opened mine up.... the helmet is molded on and cap on the extrahead is molded as well.
