Glad to know the German stenciling is correct -- I had already figured it was, as it would be way out of 21c's character for it not to be so
Besides, what other language would they use for a German aircraft? Russian? As always, thanks to Roy and 21c for creating such awesome models!

F-104 Marineflieger
Anytime you find this airplane for $50 or less, no hesitating, just buy it while you can. Seeing the prices "demanded" on eBay should be example enough.

That is exactly why I jumped on the one I found for $50 at a small hobby storeder Vogelfänger wrote:Anytime you find this airplane for $50 or less, no hesitating, just buy it while you can. Seeing the prices "demanded" on eBay should be example enough.

Eh, the German 104 comes in only one style box, the grey one. I got one from the show and it is indeed the same one that is at Walmart. Sorry for the deflating news....hworth18 wrote:Tman, The planes at Wallyworld are all in the standard box..![]()
The "special edition" box is just that and only available in limited quantities..

While I like the USAF and GAF Starfighters -- BTW, kudos all-around to the design and production team at 21C -- I'm hoping they'll consider producing a Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) F-104J with markings from 203 Hikotai (Squadron) of 2 Kokudan (Wing) out of Chitose Air Base.
The squadron transitioned from the Starfighter to the Kawasaki Heavy Industries-licensed F-15J Eagle in 1983.
...just my .02c worth...
