Whew!!

I had a PZ IV Non RC with two figures on Lawaway and today was the 62'nd day. I just had no time to go the other day. But I figured they had not called (why else did they take my number) and I was safe. I was looking for a Stuka or anything else new when I came across my layaway panzer - the box was now smushed a little but the tank is in fine shape!!

should I open or leave it in the box?

other than that nothing new to report.

Wow! That's got to be the first time I've ever heard of 1/18 AC being clearanced. There are still Me-109E nightfighters sitiing on the shelf for regular price.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

In Northern California, W-M NEVER has a good selection of a/c, no less sale prices. You lucky dog!

I found a German F-104 today at the Massapequa walmart, thats a first for this location. Along with that I saw some Japanese XD which had OMG figures mixed in with them. The odd thing was the XD figs were hanging on pegs with the Star Wars stuff. Well they look alike :P
Still Looking for the new BoB figures..............
PS.... picked up 5 more of the OMG guys.

more stuff

Post by mikeg » Sun Apr 16, 2006 3:27 pm

I just found the desert stuka and bunker corsair at wmart- nice but its time to weigh the number of repaints laying around versus how much more wall space, but there's always the ceiling.

Vallejo, CA W-M has 3 silver F-104's and some 109's.

I waited a long time to find the F-104 but it was worth the wait.

Camo Stuka's and Corsairs in Fayetteville AR to join the 109G's, FW190's. All at full price. Also went to Sand Springs OK (scoping out your territory Hworth!) last week and there sat a Red 3 190 complete with swastika on the tail. I'll bet money one of the landing gear is broken and somebody returned it. They still have a nice selection of Donnie Boy P47's too. All at full price of course.

Hmmm... I'll have to start checking the Wal Marts in my area soon. Its about time these showed up in Ca. I've got a couple of the German tankers from BCA, but could use a couple more and I didn't want to incur heavy shipping expenses by buying multiples online. Guess I may not have to now!

Found at least some of the new BoB figures at a Wal Mart in Fresno. I picked up a couple of the US figures (looked better in person) and the Pvt. Kedanzi (sp?) German tanker. Gotta love the removable hats!
