1/35th Hbby fan figures

Has any one used the Hobby fan 1/35th figures, How are they and how well do they look with fov and 21stC vehicles. And what is there pricing like compared to other 1/35 plastic figures.

Where do you see them?? If they are online somewhere, how about posting a link so we can take a look see. Are they pre-painted or not?? The Dragon "Can Do" pocket army figures in 1/35 are beautifully pre-painted, very realistic looking and fairly reasonably priced, with a set of 5 running about 16 bucks I believe, and they look great with 21C or FOV 1/32 armor and vehicles. My only complaint is that they have a base that is too thick for diorama use unless you blend it in or disguise it somehow, no biggie really, just a minor complaint.

I will get a pic of them soon. No they are not painted. but they are not your typicle run of the mill poses either.

Sorry, don't have any and if I did I can say for sure they would not look that good when I was done painting them

They do look sweet though, and as you said are not very run of the mill. There is a panzer crew set too I think which looks nice.

Before I started collecting 21C and FOV 1/32 scale models, I did a considerable amount of 1/35 scale kit building, mostly WWII armor, and I can tell you this: hand painting and detailing figures this small is an art, and if done properly the figs can look really nice indeed, but it is a tedious and time consuming endeavor without a doubt. I am not trying to discourage anyone from giving it a go, just offering an observation based on personal experience. Another outfit that makes what appear to be nicely detailed unpainted plastic figs in 1/35 is TSSD, you can see them here... http://www.michtoy.com/MTSCnewSite/newp ... /TSSD.html
Just click on the white catalog number(s) for a preview of the figures. These guys are also one of the few companies that offer ready to paint WWII Russian figures. I am planning to get some in a few weeks and I'll let you know how they look.

Paintring them will not be a problem for me, Since Ive done a lot of tamiya figures in the past and my handy work looks better then 21stC figures. I would like a review of them them if any one has done them.

Yes, I have some and they are great! They are made out of resin and blow all plastic figures, ie. Dragon or Tamiya away. If you are an experienced modeller you'll have no problem building and painting these guys. Typical with almost all resin kits, each piece is on it's own sprue and will need trimming. The costs are a little pricey but you're paying for quality. I say buy them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
