What type of jacks were used to lift WWII jeeps and weapon carriers? Does anyone have any reference shots? Thanks!

Have you ever seen a sissors jack? I really don't think you need a pic for an ordinary light duty sissors jack.
The are plenty of pics around showing Jeeps ready for inspection showing the complete tool kits for every Jeep. Besides the jack and the manual starting crank and a few basic wrenches there isn't anything every back yard mechanic hasn't seen before.
Where you would get this stuff in 1/18, now that's a horse of a different color.

3/4 ton vehicles in WW2 used a slightly bigger sissors jack and longer and bigger starting crank.
I had cranks for both the Jeep and the 3/4 ton trucks but never trusted the original sissors jacks, and used different sizes of hydraullic jacks. They weren't original but I never crawled under a 6,000 pound truck held up by a 60 year old jack.

The screw jack in your picture was used also for Jeeps. I'll check around for pics of the sissors jack and it's use on jeeps and Dodges. I'd bet money that the screw jack while available for Jeeps, is too light for the Dodge and was not used for Dodges.
I'll find pics.
