suitable for using with the Marine Cobra helicopter? I don't mind doing slight mods, repainting etc i'm more concerned whether the overall look and the helmet are appropriate.

I'm not the stickler for exact accuracy, but the Desert Ops pilots look decent in the XD Cobra Helicopter, most preferably the "Snake" version since that one is colored lighter and would seemingly be used in desert conditions. The Seal pilots (same figures, but with green uniforms) look much better in both XD Cobras, and I would assume actual standard Marine pilot suits are green. Those figures are what I have crewing mine, with the Desert pilots in the brown BBI Littlebird.

The cobra looks really good with the desert pilots.
I have 4 Cobras all with desert piots in them.
