WIP 82nd Abn Gun jeep Added photos

Post by steelbonnet » Mon Mar 20, 2006 7:02 am

Well the other thing along with the bikes & riders I`ve been working on & moreso inspired by Phil`s custom Jeeps last week :D

I present my own GATES jeep being redone as a Gun Jeep.

As you can see the ammo boxes are there, need to sort out some Jerry cans & backpacks I`ve got & made straps to thread through the handles on the jeep.

Need to add a support bar from the MG mount to floor, rope around the front bumper, not sure wether to add a Wire cutter or not.

Any input much appreciated.

Thank`s

HAHAH the Inspirer is Inspired, that`s Great :D

Still needing to add some stowed kit to the jeep still.
I have another Gates one I`m going to do up & I have a solido SAS jeep which I`m working on too :D

Need to get a few more jeeps though & the gates in the UK are the simplist way I have found. Even getting the Laural & Hardy ones cheaply work a treat :D

Though not sure what to do with the seated Stan & Olie now :D HAHAHA

Adding some shots of the base of the MG mount. On how I did this.

The metal rod I`ve added to give extra security to the weapon on the mount.

Hey SB,,, I have been busy lately but have seen all your new posts,,, lots of great customs there...

I like this jeep but the driver is tired of being clunked in the head by the ammo box on the 50....good thing he has a steel bonnet...t

Thank`s very much guys :D

Centone,
Thank`s mate for the link that`s great & will work really well with the British WWII I`m currently working on too :D

Tomd,
Glad to hear from you mate & hope life`s not getting too hectic for you.

Thank`s for the comments mate on my customs as of late :D
HAHAHA about the jeep driver, though the .50 swings freely without actually hitting his head though that`s why he has the Steel Bonnet :D HAHAHAHA
