Theoretically, one can store almost 8 times as many 1/32 items as they can 1/18 items, in the same given space. (since 1/32 is about half the size of 1/18 you can store 2x2x2=8 times as much).

So, it's a lot more practical, in that regard. If it just weren't so darn piddley.

ps, theoretically you can store 64 times as many 1/72 items as you can 1/18, in the same given space.
