I have around 12 of these and they are great for the money... They are all plastic (basically a built model), but fill gaps in my collection nicely..

Just ordered an F4F and a Mig-3 from this series from BCA. Glad to hear they are nice and can't wait for them to arrive!

Any chance BCA will carry their 1/72 Armor line?

There's a JSIII russian tank I want.

I have four of the EM so far, 2 Corsairs, a RAF P-40 and the white Russion Mig 3. I really like the Corsairs, and for the money they are great little planes! I plan on getting the Hellcat, Wildcat, a Russian Hurri and a Yak. I would stay away from the Spits though, the canopy just looks off.

I recieved my F4F and Mig-3 yesterday. They're pretty nice and well detailed. The cockpits lack some of the smaller details, but look pretty good otherwise. The landing gear are fixed in the extended positon. Although not diecast, they display well with other products like Dragon, Corgi & Matchbox and are worth the $8 :)

Check out Tower Hobbies. I think they have 40+ planes listed! That should keep you guys busy for awhile!

MRC Easy Model 1/72 AFVs

Post by Airman001 » Fri Mar 03, 2006 9:14 am

MRC is branching out to satisfy the groundpounders. Listed in Fine Scale Modeler Mag for Apr 06 are the following pre-built AFVs:
AS-90 British SPG
M26 Pershing
M26E2 Pershing
German Maus
Soviet JS-3/3M.
They will be pre-built and painted. Also FOV is scheduled to release in 1/72 scale in die cast, the following AFVs:
Sdkfz 251 Ausf D "Stuka"
M-3 Grant (UK)
M3A1 Halftrack
T34/85Su-122
M4A1 Shermand and a M113 APC.
I await them with baited breath.

I like the sound of that FOV 1:72 T-34. That will be a must for me. I may also need to get the M-113 to go with my modern forces.

I picked up two of the armour models in London last week. They come in reddish/black box labelled "World War II Ground Armor". The model shop (ModelZone) had the JSIII, Pershing and AS90. There would appear to be four paint versions of the JSIII. I got a version used by the Egpytian Army in June 1967. There also appeared to four Pershing versions as well. The AS90 came in two versions - green and black camo for Kosovo and sand coloured for OP TELIC Iraq 2003 - I got the latter version as it will go nicely with my FOV and Dragon 1/72 Challengers. The models are good but are ALL-plastic.

this line up of Easy Models is quite impressive.....even a YF-23 Black Widow:

Oh how i wish it had been chosen over the YF-22 in the ATF competition. Nothing against the Raptor, i know it's a great plane but the YF-23 just looks so right. Good thing i wasn't the one making the decision i guess. :D

Does anyone know of any pictures of the 1/72 Trumpeter Armour? So they are all plastic, Dragon is close to all plastic too!

I'll have some in depth pictures of the Pershing and JS3 in the next few days once I get them in the mail. I've heard they are nicely detailed.
