The BBI Corsair is a great combination of details. My repaint will depict an Essex Corsair on its take-off run: flaps at 30 degrees, elevator slightly up, and rudder cranked over to offset the engine torque

However, I won't touch the Kepford re-issue nor the Bunker Hill Corsair-the paint schemes are spot-on! I may add a bit of paint chips to the Bunker Hill bird. Even the Boyington Corsair is authentic (even though it is authentic for an aircraft that was 'made up' and he just sat in for a photo op"--see page four of Ski's profile page). It still is a good representative of the mid-43 red surround markings.
Back to the BBI Corsair, I also agree that the model's paint and markings are top quality--it is indeed a beautiful model as is. As was the BBI Zero-with historically correct markings, I might add. (I apologize for going a bit off-thread
