The latest 1:144 scale collection of plastic aircraft from Doyusha is an 6-piece set shipping in a 12-piece display case box. Actually, only five of the models are F-117A Nighthawks, as there is a F/A-22 Raptor in the mix.

Like the recently released F-14 Tomcats, these planes do NOT appear to have landing gear wheel wells. Rather, the presumably unpainted landing gear would plug directly into holes in the bellies of the planes. Since a mounting hole is not visible, these planes are also probably like their predecessors in that they don't come with display stands. Finally, the canopies look like they are all colored black.

After further review, I have revised my opinion and do believe that there are wheel wells. The landing gear doors appear to have outlines, so I think that they are inserts. There are two holes for each wheel well, which would correspond to how open landing gear doors would be plugged into the underside of the plane.

Any word on price? That looks like neat set. I've seen three of those very aircraft in person. (two of the F-117As and the Raptor)
