Nuremburg news

Post by aferguson » Tue Feb 07, 2006 8:53 pm

I was just reading on missing-lynx, Heller is coming out with a pre-built 1/35 Dora railway gun, due fall of '06. Price $5,000US. About 5 feet long including gun barrel.

Aoshima is producing a 1/72 Yamato battleship. Price unknown but last year Metal Model made a 1/144 pre-built version which sold for $8000US. They've sold 70 so far.

Save your pennies..

Wonder what that would cost to have shipped from Asia to the US.

Obviously if you can afford to buy it, shipping is not your concern :P

Post by MG-42 » Wed Feb 08, 2006 10:52 am

This "New" pre-built Railway Gun sounds "FANTASTIC" ! ....and so does the price. I would love to see a pic on it. These Railroad Guns always did fascinate me. I have a publication about them by,.. Squadron.

Holy Gadzookas Batman! I certainly hope nothing gets damaged in transit and hate to see the packing carton this beast comes in! Talk about getting a hernia at the Post Office!

That is a beast. I also wonder about packing and preventing damage in shipping. What an incredible offering.
