The 'Wife' poll...

Post by holensock » Sun Jan 29, 2006 8:03 pm

Tonight I put on the table, a loose PTE Desert soldier, a bbi Paratrooper, a bbi Modern soldier, a 21C XD OMG soldier, and a bbi WWII ground trooper. I asked her to pick the best looking soldier, then the second best, third best, and so on.
Here's the unscientific result...
Number one best:
bbi Paratrooper
bbi WWII ground trooper
bbi Modern soldier
21C XD OMG soldier
PTE Desert soldier
Shame of it is, I think the PTE soldier is far the best as far as articulation goes, but...she's dead on as far as the rest goes. IMO. She still doesn't get it why I LOVE these little soldiers :D

She should spend more time with them. You know, kinda get to know them better. Some day she may consider them family too. Good luck Bob. :)

I also have a good collection of the 12" GI Joes on a shelf in the spare bedroom-probably a good 20 or more. Anyways, one day I walked in there and my wife 'rearranged' them all. ALL of 'em had their pants pulled down and bent over shooting me the moon
It took me over 45 minutes to pull all their pants back up and put their belts back on, et....sigh.................

My wife is moreso for the detailing than the articulation.

Though I have an old school friend I still see. His girlfriend has a tendancy to put ALL his Star Wars figures into positions creating a UBER ORGYFEST HAHAHA

My wife did do the sexual postion with a 1/6th figure & BBI CY girls once though, whilst i was out (as we have Small kids 2 & 6,I asked if this should become our CODE to send signals ;) ).....LOL

Yeah, that happened to me when the wife and I lived at the old house. We have one of our friends dog sit for us. She and some of our other friends had a drunken bash and totally messed up one of my dios. The original Panther tanker was getting it on with Quigon Jin and other assorted oddness. I was highly amused.

At the messed up dio, or the fact that your house sitter was having a drunken bash while you were gone?

The messed up dio--the drunken bash was expected. I paid her in Jaegermeister.
