Funny - I was just looking at that on Ebay - shipping kills it for me though :?

not bad - I love that plane - I passed on those when they were on clearance at TRU many moons ago -

What is reasonable Priority Mail shipping for an XD A/C? (i.e. approximately what does one weigh?)

I haven't found my scale while unpacking, and I don't want to buy a new one...

Depends on the bird, and the packaging. A 190 in a coffin box can be no more than 4 lbs. A spit is also pretty light.
A stuka in any box has to be closer to 7-8.
USPS rates just went up too, so the days of $12 anywhere in the lower 48 are really done.
Shipping price shouldn't really kill it for anyone, it should be the total price after shipping. If the item goes real cheap that may be because of the shipping, not in spite of. I always think grand total, who cares if it 90% shipping? In fact, I rather pay 100% in "shipping" if the item was free because ebay takes no fees on shipping cost, and f^&% ebay.

You can ship XD planes fedex ground for $10 or less almost anywhere in the lower 48. I charge $12 to ship them just in case the buyer is in some weird small town in Washington or the upper west coast. Those cost me about $12 to ship. Anywhere in the South it costs me about $7

Usually costs me between $9-12 for the standard XD plane box from Houston. Don't know with the new rates though.
