I've been doing some work on an Indy Cargo truck. I wanted to change it from
the duel axle to a single axle like the Opel-Blitz 3 ton.

This is how it looked last week...

I've moved the front wheels and fenders back almost 1". The rear duel axle was moved last week
removing one set of wheels.

I added some styrene plastic sheet to change the look of the fenders to
give it more of the look of an Opel.

well when photobucket decides to start working again I'll post the rest
of the pictures.....

That's very cool. How do you make such clean chassis cuts? That's what's always held me back from doing more of this.

Pat I use an X-acto saw...

The razor saw like that is a critical and versatile tool for any cutting of soft or small plastic or tiny wood pieces for a clean cut. It can get in places where a hacksaw can't and a knife is not practical. It's really good on styrofoam finishing work to clean up less precise hacksawing. I used it extensively on my 1/6 slat grill jeep to remove unrealistic toy bracing up around the front bumper.

It really is a great tool, I have used it on countless custom projects.

Hey Pickel yes it works know, still with photo bucket due to the number of images I already had there.
There are a few different steps to post pics, which I wasn't used to, but it seems to work.

E 79 This is a "What If" or "Paper Panzer" I started in summer '21. It is loosely based on the E-10 and
my interpretation of a cross between the Panther and T-34 running gear setup.

The model is styrene sheet, 21st Panther drive sprockets and road wheels plus the commanders hatch and one hatch from
a 21st Tiger I.
The Tracks are from Grunt 1"s / Battleground models, excellent 1:18th scale snap together PantherTrack Set. The addition of these
tracks to any 21st Panther changes the look and feel of the model. Much better looking than the rubber band type tracks which
come on the model.
There are some other pieces from the parts box plus Battlegrounds Infra-red night scope fitted on the turret and hull.

YT the V-2 is 1:16 from IMEX, its an old Vac-U-Form kit and is a "Cut-Away". Your able to see the internal parts,
I chose to paint the entire model so painted over the clear side.

The TA 183 Huckebein is the kit from Pazzaguy, Nathan Hortchem. The one you built and painted came out
much better then mine!

No, I haven't seen any others. It would be nice to see what other paint schemes others chose.
I still have the TA 183 Huckebein with full cockpit and landing gear to build.
I haven't taken on any large projects since January, I had to have hand surgery due to nerve damage. Its much
better so for now I'll be working on some armor projects and some repaints. The 183 can wait for winter.
