BadCat Rules!

Post by HardenSteel » Fri Jan 27, 2006 11:29 pm

Hi all,

I want everyone to know that BadCat has been there for me from their humble beginnings.

I have recieved to many items to mention - extremely well packed , extremely quick delivery and have had very satisfing results. In fact, they have indulged almost every whim I have asked of them. In the past all problems have been swifttly and professionally dealt with, All my requests for replacement parts met.

I want to say this for a number of good reasons.

- BadCat is the first company who had no problems shipping 1/18 products outside the US.

- They have played an huge role in expanding 1/18 line of collectables.

- They are very very creative: giving us very cool BadCat exclusives like the various Mustang and F16 variations.

- They are usually the first to pick up any new 1/18th players.

- They are incredable supportive of the board and listen closely to what we would like. Hence, they play advocacy for us to the manufacturers. We get incredably cool items like the inovative Zero!.

- The Website is very cool - lots of up to date info. That constant information update alone takes a huge amount of time. I'd actually say their website is addicting.

- They have been very creative with their special packaging, as well. providing custom boxes to fit various manufacturers products - Well Done!

I always want a win/win situation. So I like try to get things worked out like an adult should. I really can't thank Rob enough for the great service over all the years. The fact that I don't understand some of the latest issues and have sought some advice should not and does not mean that I wish to denigrate his organization in any way.

I hope the clears up any mis understanding that I may have caused. I am also sorry if I have cause any negative fallout.

All I can say is I want to give a deep heart felt thanks to BadCat for giving me the bulk of my 1/18 collection.

I agree as well. I am lucky enough to live near their store/hangar and its like walking into Willy wonka's Chocalate Factory. Luckily, I was the only one in the back show room so no one saw me stop and drool.

I full-heartedly agree - BCA has my full support! They have provided excellent service over more than 30 specific orders that I made (of all sizes of items) over the past three years. While I did occasionally have a glitch - such at two right stabilizers in my BBI Zero - BCA's customer service gladly responded to my call and rectified the situation. Based on the way their business has grown, I can tell that I am not the only person who has recieved excellent service from this retailer!

i just like the way they always hand sign the invoice
it's just a personal touch that seems right, but i think some of the other Etailers maybe ok also, so i don't want to hurt any feelings

Concur - BadCat, led by Rob, Maria and the troops is the BEST. I visit the web site several times a day. I also strrongly concur they are the folks who put 1/18th scale on the map, and are catalyzing the drive toward increasing accuracy in the models - the latest releases, especially the Zero, are approaching true scale model levels of accuracy. Now if only BADCAT could convince the manufacturers to release some of the older aircraft in UNASSEMBLED form.... :D

I have ordered from Badcat many times and only had two instances where they sent the wrong item. In the first instance, I called and they immediately sent the correct item. In the second instance, I spoke to one of their worker bees who informed me I had to send the wrong item back first, but then I spoke to Maria who apoligized and sent correct item immediately. Badcat has been outstanding in supporting and providing for our 1:18 scale needs and I will conitnue to support them as well

Bad Cat is 110% with me.

Beautiful and informative website, superb phone courtesy and terrific with everything that's involved in getting planes to me, and in great condition!

Well said and well deserved praise. While BCA has always been very good, reliable and friendly, I like to spread the wealth around and order from other retailers as well. Competition is a great thing and benefits everyone.

That's my sermon of the day guys.

Aviator Nut, first,
1)Become the biggest and cheapest online source of product for this hobby.
2)Start telling any customers who complain, 'no planes for you'
3) They will :D
I'm just kidding; really!

Actually, despite having a slight groan about being overcharged on shipping in the past, I really do like Badcat! As well, I have put quite a few of our NZ RC Tank Club members onto Badcat, and they have ordered from there with no problems. :D

BadCat Rules!

Post by donnieboy » Mon Jan 30, 2006 8:23 pm

Just wanted to add my two cents: I concur with the rest of the board concerning BadCat. No offense to any other on-line diecast dealers, but BadCat is so head-and -shoulders above anybody else, it's amazing. I have been dealing with Rob, Maria and the gang for several years now and have had nothing but pleasurable experiences. It's a real joy to talk to people who really know and care about the products they're selling. It's businesses like BadCat that are eventually going to spell the end for many "bricks-and-mortar" stores. Try having a conversation about WWII aircraft with a Wal-Mart employee. Try finding one who knows what WWII was, for that matter. :?

This doesn't do my own business much good but badcat actually inspired me to start my own store.
not because of bad experience with them but just the opposite, they were very proffesional and knowledgable, something I strive for with my own company.
