Hi Everyone,
After reading aferguson's post on 109 drop tanks I had an idea. I have an Osprey book "Ju 87 Stukageschwader of North Africa and the Med" that has a color profile of T6+CP with drop tanks. I just picked up the Galland and the color of the drop tank looks close to the Ju 87 snake. I already had the first 109 and that drop tank was a little darker. I snipped off the the attachment points of the drop tanks and elmer glued them on. I didn't want to mess up the Stuka and figured if I did want them on the 109's I could always glue them on. I put a couple of pictures on webshots. I like it, less than 1 hour of time and it gives the plane a different look.

Say... That Stuka looks pretty cool! It sort of reminds me of a Robert Taylor painting I saw once that featured a Stuka (with similar color scheme) that had the drop tanks.

that's a very good idea. I wouldn't worry about slight variations in the colours of the drop tanks. In fact that makes it more realistic..
I'm gonna do that myself..

Good idea Bruzzer! It looks pretty accurate. Hey, can I add your profile of the Snake Stuka to the Profile Album? It's better than the one I got.

Hyperscale, Modelling Madness and Aircraft Resource Center have loads of good pictures and info. I visit them almost every day so I can see what all my models look like put together.

why you are nothing but a big custom tease!

You had me thinking you did that all on your own!
You shouldn't have said anything and just gone posting all kinds of pics.
