The commander's seat in the turret of my FOV 1/16 King Tiger fell off.
Is there a way to remove the turret basket easily from the turret so I can glue the seat back on?
Internet photo of commander's seat in the turret basket.

I need more photos of the turret interior of the FOV 1/16 King Tiger.
Does anyone have any?

TREX0770;
Thanks for the photos.
Also, how do you remove the turret basket from the turret?

Trex0770:
More questions:
1. Could you give more detailed information on how to exactly remove the turret basket from the turret?
2. I have two parts that fell off in the turret: the coaxial machine gun and a J-shaped support rod (see photo), so I need more info as to exactly where they attach to in the turret (if I can remove the basket, maybe I can figure out where the parts attach on my own).
Thanks again.

After seven months, I finally managed to re-attach the various loose parts in the turret. I never could remove the basket from the turret, so I had to reattach the parts through the openings in the basket which took many attempts and a lot of patience. The parts fell off because FOV had used very little glue on the pegs to attach them in the factory, but I corrected that.
The King Tiger is whole again.

I never had one of FOV King Tigers but what a job they did on them,
Very impressive! I can't get over the detail, glad you got it all in place.

NORMANDY:
Thanks. I'm surprised at how fragile the tank is internally---as posted before, the turret parts that fell off had little or no glue on the pegs.

GROCKWOOD:
I have a video camera I got as a gift which has lousy quality (see the photo I posted earlier of the 2 parts that fell off). I might experiment to see if I can improve the quality, but in the past, all the photos were very fuzzy.
