Was seeing if there was any interest in a Flakpanzer IV mobelwagen 1/18. I have talked a bit with Pickel about using his flak gun on a chassis I can build, and mold out if there is enough interest in this vehicle.

Let me know
Thanks

I would think the single-barrel 3.7cm a better choice since that was the production version. The 2.0cm Flak 38 was a single prototype.
I never understood why 21st went with the prototype for their 1/32 release.

Or could go with the panzer IV with just the side armor and leave the gun mount area open for mounting which ever gun folks wanted to mount themselves I guess.
Any ideas folks?

I'd like that idea if Pickles quad could fit on it without major mods. Bob

Oh, also the Mobelwagen had a modified upper structure to support that big box of shielding around the gun. Only the Wirbelwind and Ostwind used the upper structure as it came.
Just so you know.

What I have decided to do with this is just make it with the mount but not put any gun into it, that way people could get one of Pickel,s guns or a 3.7 of even a 88 into it. What do you think about this idea? It would just be a mod to put onto a Panzer IV chassis.

Wouldn't you have to make three mounts then, since those three guns used different mounts?
