Re: 1/18 Me163B-1
I received my kit from Nathan last week as well and will echo Normandy’s positive comments
Everything was organized beautifully in the individual numbered and labeled bags and the step-by-step instructions are perfect. The build will be challenging to an extent, but Nathan has made an amazing kit and I’m looking forward to starting it!

Thank you for the kind comments.
I wanted to check and see if there was anymore interest in kits before I moved on to my next project.

Well after almost a year and a half and a pandemic, I've gotten to start this amazing kit.
Mine is kit 005 and Tuesday I started it...
...The detail and design of this kit surpasses any custom kit I've ever built and to have one
in 1:18 scale will be an honor to add to my collection.
Well Done Nathan!

It looks beautiful. Panel lines, metal parts, working mechanicals.. He did a fantastic job and you've got quite a German rocketry shop there.

Great work so far on your ME-163 Normandy... And I see your Bachem Natter in there too
I’ve still got to get to my ME-163... Either that or my Bachem Natter are the next kits on my list after I get done with Aracula’s Jagdpanzer IV. Thankfully I’ve not been furloughed and am still going into my county government job, so I’ve not had as much free time to get stuff done as others have

Looking great. How are the instructions? I tried to clearly document the processes in my head. Which is difficult on a good day. I've had a couple requests for kits. Once I have the A4 to the stage where I need to order laminating resin for fiberglass molds, I'll have what I need to make a couple more kits.

Normandy, I’ve got a really random question for you: What type of cutting tool did you use to cut out the cockpit area on the ME-163? I’ve got a Dremel, but most of the saw pieces I’ve got for it are too big for that space... Just curious!

Re: 1/18 Me163B-1
Nathan the directions were great along with your build pictures.
Grunt "quite a German rocketry shop there." Yeah thought I'd do some
Luft projects this week.
Here are two more...
I did have a problem, the brass square tube should be # 8154 K&S 7/32" x .014 or 5.6mm.
the one in the kit was # 8155 1/4" x .014 or 6.35mm.
The square tube helps support and align the wings with the fuselage so
I've cut a piece of wood to the needed size, works fine.

Shomare, You getting my messages?
Re: 1/18 Me163B-1
Nope! The stupid forum message system constantly says they are on hold! Absolutely ridiculous. Did you see mine going your way? I am not sure who to contact to get it fixed either unfortunately. I think Pickle messaged me 6mon to a year ago probably and I couldn't read his either.
Re: 1/18 Me163B-1
Hey, the short of it before I forgot is this. If it is in regards to the ME163, the answer is still YES I want one! Hahaha! Just have to figure out how to get the dang msgs to work.
