This guy was among my loose 1/18 figures but I don't know who or what he's supposed to be, the brand or if there are others like him. Anyone? Are there Arab figures other than the Hasbro Indy ones? Of all the times to not be able to get on the database site.
Appreciated as always.

That’s an old 21st Eastern Warrior figure from their short-lived Modern line from back around 2003-2004. It originally came with an RPG. There was another Eastern Warrior figure in camo fatigues and had a Russian RPD machine gun and ammo belt. The figures were supposed to be Afghan Taliban figures, without being too politically incorrect on the part of 21c. The modern figure line also came with a US Special Ops figure, a British Royal Marine, and another US Special Ops figure in a sweatshirt that came with the Supercobra helicopter. You can still find these figures around, but they are a bit more expensive than they used to be...

Isn't everything?
Thanks Tman!

Yeah, everything is more expensive these days... But those modern figures stuck around for a while at affordable prices... I got a bunch of the Eastern Warrior/Taliban figures and they’re great for modern dioramas

So are those and the Indiana Jones figures the only Arab/Eastern figures that were made??

Well you have these two from 21st...
...these were from the movie Sahara made in 2005. 21st got the rights to make these 1:18 figures.
The Pitt guy could pass for kadafi with a little work.

One just had to love 21c's marketing strategies (or lack thereof). I remember all their hoopla for the Sahara movie like it was going to be the next big action adventure film and 21c was going to be great as they had the action figure and marketing rights. Then the movie bombed and is only moderately less forgetful than the 21c action figure line...
But I remember 21c had this huge line planed for Sahara with repaints of a few vehicles, of which I think only those two 1/18 figures and a 1/6 scale jeep were ever released. The figures are actually pretty good and I mean, how Matthew Mcconaughey and Steve Zahn action figures are there?

I would ask, how many Matthew Mcconaughey and Steve Zahn figures do we NEED. And if there is not a 1/18 Lincoln Continental available, that takes away from a lot of the display possibilities.

Hi guys, I could make many use of these 21st century eastern warriors 1 & 2: showing here some examples (previously seen on this board, before photobucket disappeared of my favorites): clcick on the small pics to make it bigger.

In the 3rd pic, I missmatched legs, body and headsculpt between the eastern figures 1 & 2 to make the #3. The other figures are the Elite Force British Army and on the left behind one figure from Indiana Jones and the burka lady is from Star Wars...
