Hi, as many of you know I have listed several 1/18 custom cars. I really like cars and have felt like there was a real lack of choices for support veichles to go with our armor collections outside of the kubelwagon and the jeep. I want to make more in the future but it seems like intrest is low. Am I alone in my love for support veichles like these or is the market much lower?

Re: Feedback needed on custom 1/18 staff cars
I've wanted to see more "support veichles" staff cars and trucks, finding 1:18 diecast cars and custom
painting has filled the gap to a point for me. The Hasbro Indy Trucks also helped.
Had 21st survived, I think they might have gone in that direction given the 3/4 Ton Dodge Weapons Carrier,
1.5 Ton Dodge Weapons Carrier and Dodge Command Car.

I agree, I have been wanting to give the indy car a total rebuild to make it correct. Also I have a benz that I want to convert and sell as a project. It is to bad we never saw a swimwagon or other small stuff from 21st century. The small stuff makes the big stuff that much more impressive.normandy wrote:I've wanted to see more "support veichles" staff cars and trucks, finding 1:18 diecast cars and custom

Hello, I'm not in wwII stuff, but agree, there is a big lack in logistic vehicles. There is a cargo humvee from PTW, that could easily be customized with different loads. Pickelhaube had the project of an ambulance humvee, I also thought about a mobile field close air trafic control tower, a radio, fuel tank and command car all for a field helipad... but could never buy more than 1 PTE cargo humvee at a reasonnable price... I've modified a (1/22th?) Schleich truck to a 1/18th military truck, as I needed a vehicle to track my artillery gun (a chinese table lighter!):(clickon image to enlarge)
