Vulgarvulture:
I am sorry if anyone is jumping on you as one who complained about the Avenger. I was the one that posted that miffed reply. I probably should have waited until I cooled off after reading your info off of BadCats website. I was and am miffed about a dealing I had with BadCat, their attitude etc. I had emailed another member, and called another about my experience with BC and although I should post it here, I probably will be 86'd from them anyway. Seems that all customers of BC better think twice about sending anything back, too many times, or your account will be red flagged like mine is. In their opinion, I have returned too many items, am too picky about perceived mistakes (paint jobs, parts etc.) I can still order, but cannot return anything. I did not realize I had done that much as they were always very nice on the phone, until this time, without notice........
Oh well, looks like I will have to bite the bullet from now on. I have no grudges against them, just will have to be more cautious about what I buy and from whom.
Sorry for the ranting. Again, I was justed miffed about my incident with BC, not 21st. My pre-order is with another company, with which I have not had any trouble with, so it still stands. I have ordered, talked to two other guys on this board who sell airplanes(they know of what I speak) and I can still purchase from them. I am just saying, Be Careful........
Nothing is sacred anymore.

I've waited so long for the Avenger now that a couple of more months
doesnt really surprise me or bother me much. P51 makes some good points about the long development and production time for a new bird like the Avenger, however, its hard to give 21st a pass when it pertains to
such items as the Sahara Huey, Sahara M48A3, Panzer with the side skirts, Kubelwagen, etc...etc... There is no development or production issues, just paint, and yet they cant seem to communicate about, or produce any of these items.
Hey 21st, Info PLease!!!

I'd just like to publically aplogize to Vulgarvulture, I didn't not mean to seem to include you in the comments I made! I appericiate your brining us the BadCat updates as I'm sure most of us would not have seen that!

I had a great conversation with Roy recently. He was filling me in on the TBF features and other new products. I know from the pics and what Roy said the TBF will be a model that all other models will be judged. It sounds like they have gone over and above on the engineering side of things. I know it’s been a couple years but I think this one will be worth the wait.

I've got a question. What other Navy plane had the same folding wings as the Avenger. Were there any? Was this hard to replicate? Might be a idea for the next XD release.

Oh yeah....... Can't wait for that one in 1/18 scale!

Would that not be perfect, 21C's Avenger is released and right on its heels bbi releases its Hellcat? (Pure speculation and wishful thinking mind you  )

That would be a great stategic move on BBI's part. The Hellcat would be a great companion on 21st's Avenger.

Hey p51: I appreciate your post, but as I mentioned to you before everything's cool. In fact I really should not have posted a reply in the first place. I just stirred things up needlessly on Friday the 13th, what can I say?

You are THE MAN for hosting this board. What a great resource of info for this hobby.
