Ferdinad

Post by Aracula » Tue Sep 20, 2016 11:52 am

I am building two 1/18 Ferdinand's for people, and am wondering if anyone else may be interested in one while I am in Ferdinand building mode. If anyone is, please PM me and we can discuss the cost and see if you want one.

Thanks

I would be, though I would like to see build pictures first to get a feel for how you are going about this. If it will look just like the Tamiya picture above then hell yeah! :-) I may even be able to help with road wheels or some of the other more difficult scratch parts if you like.

It won't look like the Tamiya because that is an Elefant, not a Ferdinand. There are several fundamental differences between the two.

You'll also notice a difference in the gun mount, as well as a relocation of the pioneer tools from the side to the rear.

And the biggest feature: The Elefant has zimmerit.

I actually had that kit when it was new, BTW.
