Figure mixing & matching

Post by spect_spidey » Sun Jan 08, 2006 11:16 pm

I have a couple of questions about mixing and matching figure pieces.

1. Does the older BBi Army/Navy/SWAT figure heads work with the newer WWII bodies?

2. Has anyone tried switching BBi and 21st Century legs? Are the two compatible with each other? For example 21st USMC waist & legs on a BBi figure or vice versa.

No. The old guys have no neck. Also the old guys are very pale.

No. In general this does not work. However, most figs are different, even from the same Co. so sometimes you can pull it off. I have bbi USMC fatigues and boots on the hooded sweatshirt body of my 21C CIA guy, but in general this is a no go.

All that said there are guys on this board who will not take no for answer - they will use glue, exactos and skill to make any and all figs compatible.
I prefer to limit my swaps to those that require only hot water and/or elbow grease.
