1/32 Custom Jagdpanzer L/70 (A)
College really gets in the way of modeling. This one took over a year since I started... Oh well, at least it is done! I'm actually extremely proud of this one. There was a lot of scratch building that went into it! I really love how well my chipping came out, especially around the edges of the armor. This was a commissioned piece for a forum member! Enough of me blabbering, enjoy the pics!

Looks amazing, the only issue I have is that this beauty isn't in 1:18. Nice work!

Thank you guys! I'm slowly trying to get caught up with the projects (in order). 3 years ago I didn't realize how demanding college was!

Alex, this L/70 is great, the Hinterhalt camo is just fantastic along with the added details.
Your one of the most talented young custom modelers around!!
Good Luck with collage....yes its very demanding, but nothing you can't handle.

ALEX:
That's really impressive. Is it a real Jagdpanzer or a fictional one?

Re: 1/32 Custom Jagdpanzer L/70 (A)
The L/70(A) is a real tank destroyer. In order to speed of delivery of Jagdpanzers to the front, Hitler ordered the Alkett factory to redesign the superstructure to fit on existing PZ IV chassis, hence the vertical section that adds about 40cm to the height. About 278 were built before production of the Vomag version ramped up.

To clarify my question, is Alex's Jagdpanzer #401 based on a real #401 or a fictional #401?
I know the L/70 (A) is real tank destroyer.

My bad. I've read a few too many paper panzer kit reviews lately and that's the meaning that popped in my head when I read your post.

Re: 1/32 Custom Jagdpanzer L/70 (A)
It wasn't based off of a real one. Just shot for a late war look with the disc camo. I couldn't find any real examples using the disc camo, but it couldn't be THAT improbable. Who knows! But yes, it's artistic licensing!

It's still a fantastic model. You should really proud of it.
