Wasn't there supposed to be a kit version available last year? Wonder what happened to that? Can't help but wonder if they would be better off just doing 1/18 kits with different markings available.normandy wrote:When is the FW-190 due out?

What makes the P-51 Mustang so special?

I thought so too. 1:18 kits with different decals choices? I'd go for that!
Well, I hope the Harrier comes out on time.....plenty of collectors waiting.

Good for you, Jolly Roger.
I am going to wait till I see pics of the actual production model, but it is looking promising.
Do hope it turns out as well as most hope it will be, and has fairly strong sales.
Still not happy about all over the place pricing for a brand new release.

You could go down to Colonial Photo and Hobby and see if they could blow it up on their color enlarger.

If this were Weird Science then I could get the real thing in full scale. No need for a pilot since I would just fly it myself.

The lack of a gun pod is disappointing, especially when a previous prototype had it.
Meh, we'll see what the final prototype looks like. But at the price point I'd prefer not to have to go after modifications.
rdit: Then again, I half wonder if the person you spoke with knows the difference. THat comes out harsher than I intend it, but the gunpod and ammo unit fitting on the bottom of the plane don't look like a gun to those not familiar with the aircraft.

Its a shame they will be leaving off the gun pod. I wouldn't have mind paying a little more to leave it on. Oh well, at least we have the Harrier itself.
