Re: Jeeps/Kubelwagen/Schwimmwagen in 1/18 scale
I would like a to make a night figthing Panther with my JSI Panther. If pickle make this IR kit,i will be for one of this kits too. There where made 5 repaints on the Panther. They look like clones, the only difference is just the colors. This kits such as side skirts, tracks for the turret, infra red system and backdates will allow us to give individual characteristics to each Panther.Jnewboy wrote:Hey work in the Panther IR kit! it would be awesome! and small! It can also be used on the sdkfz 251! I cant believe that Im the only one who would want a couple!!!

Time to pull this out of the past . I am trying to locate Grunt and see what he wants to do with his 3-d copy.
If he allows I would like to copy his Schwimagen and cast it.
Is there still interest ?

Pickel, could you ask Grunt whatever happened to his RSO. Not trying to get off topic, just wondering about it.

The Schwimmwagen will be a great addition to the 1:18 line and its our members keeping it going.
I think 3D printing is just a fantastic technology but the cost for print time is prohibitive with larger
pieces as stated be blitzhazed. So print the prototype and make molds seems to be the only way to go.
Thanks Matthew regarding the RSO.

If the RSO was made in 1:18 this would be a cool custom...

He has not returned my last 2 texts .normandy wrote:Pickel, any more info on the 1:18 Schwimmwagen?
He has found almost all of the parts except the rag top.
I suggested if he still has the scan to make a whole new printing so I will not have to tear down his original but he has yet to answer me back.
