1/18 Harrier?
Has anyone heard anything about the Harrier other than what was said at Comic-Con

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
My only quibble with the images from SDCC were the lack of gun pods.
The strakes are cool and all, but I think I'd rather have the GAU and ammo configuration.

And before we get more "Hitler" videos about the Focke-Wulf, rest assured it's coming, along with something very special. What is it? Oh, we're not telling...yet."

I hope released date will not change again.
Re: 1/18 Harrier?
Anyone think it would be possible to get the night attack nose cone custom made? The Harrier has been my lifelong favorite jet but I think the new nose with the APG65 radar is ugly as sin :/.

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
IMO, as a first release, this would look much better as a British version, then (V2) as a US AV-8B...

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
even though i found the radar nose more agressive' looking, I was surprised not to have the night version of the harrier : it will offer a larger market and some very nice variations : (UK + US ...)

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
Nice to see the prototype! Just wish for a more sexy 1:18 jet.
Re: 1/18 Harrier?
Is this thing ever going to be released? I thought the word on the street was after the chinese new year but that is a month away we haven't even seen the finished product yet. And wasn't the FW-190A supposed to be released at Christmas? It really shouldn't take years to build one of these things. I would really like to pick up a Harrier but my enthusiasm is waning...

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
I agree WHERE the HELL is the new stuff???
HOW can it take YEARS to make a limited release? Just what are they doing?
Is it a matter of craftmanship or limited resources?
And why is it so "secret" for a toy that no one knows? It's not like a hundred other kit companies are gonna start making 1/18 Harriers.
after a thought...it's like all the 1/18 got a cease and desist letter. Where is Pegasus and their 1/18 museum lineup?
the r/c 1/16 tanks are in the same state of cease and desist, not a rumor of any thing new. It's been years since the Shermans were released.
excluding the $2000 Tamiya R/C tanks...

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
I left a post on Merit'spublic foum in January with no response. Spoke to a person at their place in the city of Industry. They did not seem to have any word or even knowledge of the Harrier.

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
New York toy fair starts the end of this week, so maybe we will see something. Or they will just roll out the same old prototype they have been teasing with for years and say it will be coming soon.

Re: 1/18 Harrier?
Interesting that I could find nothing on their corporate website about either the Harrier or the FW-190. Would think that would be a feature story...the "coming soon" of new releases
Pre-orders

Only saw one MiG repaint available too. The red tail version. Those might have been a flop (as predicted). Anyone here order a MiG from a dealer?
